Middle-aged white woman; married with two kids….

I am back at school to learn what I need to know to work in a library. I am particularly fond of children’s books – old and new – for their illustrations. For fun and balance, I’ve started painting again, using watercolors for the first time and surprising myself by loving them!

As for the blog title… awhile ago, I read “Born on a Blue Day“, by and about Daniel Tammet, a man with Epilepsy and Asperger’s Syndrome, who “sees” numbers, and who has amazing math and language skills. Reading it reminded me that “green and blue” have always been “3 and 4″, always together. It makes sense to me, as do other color/number/letter combinations.
